What we carry back off the island

Every barbecue leaves something behind if you let it. Our rule is simple: everything we bring to the island comes back with us in the boat, including what other people left.

We buy drinks in returnable glass where we can, sort the plastic we collect for recycling on the mainland, and join the clean-up mornings organised on Île aux Bénitiers.
