Our mission

We are not going to claim the lagoon is better because of us. These are simply the things we do, and the things we refuse to do, on a normal working day.

Dolphins off the west coast

How we approach dolphins

We keep the boat parallel to the pod, never cut across it, and cut the engine at a distance. No more than a short time with one group, and we leave if the animals move away. Guests enter the water calmly, a few at a time, and never in the middle of a pod.

Glass, not plastic

Drinking water on board is in glass bottles, refilled between trips. Food from the barbecue is served on reusable plates. Everything that comes off the island comes back on the boat with us.

Clean-ups on Bénitiers

Several times a year the skippers who work this bay clear the beach and the shallows together. It is an afternoon of picking things up, not a programme — but it is worth mentioning because it is what actually happens.
