Out early, engine quiet, and time to wait for the pods
We leave Le Morne early, when the west coast is usually at its calmest, and go looking for the resident spinner and bottlenose dolphins. Your boat is yours alone, so the pace is yours too.
Our skippers grew up in this bay. They know where the pods rest at dawn and, just as importantly, when to cut the engine and simply wait. We keep our distance, we never cut across a pod, and we never chase — the dolphins decide how close the encounter gets.
On the way back we stop in the lagoon for a snorkel over the coral, with Le Morne standing over you the whole way.

Morning with the dolphins, afternoon with the ravanne on Bénitiers
Our best-known day, and the one that started it all. Dolphins at sunrise, the lagoon and Crystal Rock in between, then lunch grilled on the sand of Île aux Bénitiers while our musician warms up the ravanne.

First the pods, then the line over the drop-off
For guests who want the dolphin morning and then something to do with their hands. Once the pods have moved on we head past the reef pass and fish the drop-off with our own gear.
